Jason Statham stars as Terry Leathers, a small-time crook turned unsuccessful car salesman. When his old girlfriend Martine (Saffron Burrows) comes back into town, she makes him a one-time job offer to orchestrate the robbery of a London bank. Terry and his crew are soon thrust into a world of corruption and scandal that reaches from the London underworld to the highest levels of the British government.
