Jake Sawyer (Jason Behr, Skinwalkers) is a disillusioned American tattoo artist who makes a living by exploring, and ultimately exploiting, tattoo traditions from around the world. In Singapore, he comes across the tradition of Samoan Tatau and impulsively steals a tattooing tool. This act unwittingly unleashes an ancient evil onto the skin of anyone he tattoos, including his beautiful new girlfriend (Mia Blake).
