In actor/director Tom McCarthy's follow up to his 2003 acclaimed directorial debut The Station Agent, Richard Jenkins (Step Brothers) stars as sixty-two-year old Walter Vale, a disillusioned economic professor who has lost his passion for life. When his university sends him to New York City for a conference, he is surprised to find that a young immigrant couple has illegally taken up residence at his apartment. This chance encounter with the young couple reignites Walter's passion for life in unexpected and challenging ways.
