How does it work?

Select. Swipe. Return.
Browse through the movies. Select the title you want to rent. Once you’ve made your selection, proceed to checkout. Swipe your credit card and take your movie. To return a DVD, go to any participating store and place the DVD in the return slot. Click here for more information.

Where do customers return movies?

Customers simply bring the DVD back to the kiosk and place it in the return slot. Click here for more information.

How do you pay for movies?

By credit or debit card. DVDPlay accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express and debit cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo. Sorry, but we don’t accept gift cards. Click here for more information.

Do you have to be a member?

No! DVDPlay is here to make life easy! No forms to fill out or credit check. You can rent once or 100 times, it's up to you. Click here for more information.

What are PromoCodes and how are they used?

A PromoCode is a discount on a movie rental. To use a PromoCode, first select the movie you want to rent and place it in your "Shopping Cart" screen on the kiosk. Then, press the bright red 'PromoCode' button located just to the left of the total at the bottom of the screen. After pressing the 'PromoCode' button, you will see a keyboard screen that will allow you to enter in the PromoCode. After entering the PromoCode, press the 'Continue' button in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. That will take you back to the "Shopping Cart" screen and the value of the PromoCode should be deducted from your total. Click here for more information.

Will customers’ email addresses be sold? Will they get spam?

No! DVDPlay believes Spam is something you eat, not something to be emailed. DVDPlay will not sell customer's information to outside parties. Click here for more information.

How do customers get receipts for their transactions?

Customers will receive electronic rental receipts as long as they register their email address at the Kiosk touch screen. Customers will also receive an automated receipt for any extra day fees. Click here for more information.

What if a customer or store employee asks a question that can't be answered?

Just refer them to the DVDPlay Customer Service hotline at 1-866-738-3752 x 3 or for store employees call 1-866-738-3752 x 1. Our number is clearly marked on the front of the kiosk.

*Note: DO NOT MOVE MACHINE. DO NOT PLACE OUT OF ORDER SIGNAGE. DVDPlay can fix many problems remotely by using the kiosks communications and computer.
