DVDPlay tests a new advertising module designed to increase brand imaging
Las Vegas, Nevada 4/23/07 - DVDPlay and Maysteel have partnered to create an advertising module and movie poster display wing intended to go on DVDPlay’s movie rental kiosks across the United States. The new digital media signage will provide brand messaging and movie trailer insertions powered by DVDPlay’s patent-pending software. This joint effort will provide the opportunity to increase awareness and brand imaging capabilities in grocery and convenience store chains across the nation.
“We figured out this kiosk can be used for more than a convenient way for shoppers to rent the latest DVD hits, and decided to capitalize on the unique and tough-to-get-into market reach that our kiosk locations provide,” said Dee Cravens, vp of marketing, DVDPlay. “With the new ad-module our machines located at the front of the grocery stores are more eye-catching to the consumer.
Cravens is a featured speaker at the show and will be presenting to executives in the pre-event primer on advanced strategies and planning for kiosk deployment and on the creation of successful digital signage experiences that pair brands and location.
With more than 1,200 DVDPlay kiosks deployed in major grocery chains, DVDPlay and Maysteel will be displaying the newest ad module kiosk at KioskCom’s 11th Annual Self-Service Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 25 -26th in booth 553. The ad-module is currently deployed in test markets in California.
DVDPlay’s kiosks are networked and powered by patent-pending software that enables dynamic pricing, promotions, and inventory management that allows for the measurement of key business metrics.
“We are very pleased to be the provider of DVDPlay’s new look,” said Andy Allen, business development leader, Maysteel LLC. “We know this will be a great opportunity for the both of us to expand our presence in the marketplace.”
