Godwin joins DVDPlay from Flextronics International, where he served as Director of Engineering & Program Management. He brings to DVDPlay extensive experience in bringing products into high-volume manufacturing. In his new role with DVDPlay, Godwin is responsible for overseeing the production of DVDPlay’s network of DVD rental kiosks, which are being rapidly deployed across the U.S. There are now more than 600 DVDPlay rental kiosks installed in the United States and Canada. Prior to Flextronics, Godwin was a principal of SET Engineering, an entrepreneurial design engineering company. Godwin has over 25 years of high tech product and corporate development for companies such as Quantum Corporation, Optimem, Insite Peripherals and Spectra-Physics. His experience includes both management of and individual contributions to engineering teams developing new products for production.
