Not what I expected from the Bratz with a passion for fashion.
The cartoon to movie crossover took only a few minutes to adjust to, but
their famous nemesis the head of "pink blah" and her two daughters were
missed during this Bratz adventure movie. However their love and
respect for each other as well as for the general population made it.
The film centers around the Bratz and an existing hierarchy run
by the daughter of the principal of Carry Nation High, Meredith Baxter Dimly.
There was definetly your typical cliché high school antics, personified by
cliques and quad drama, but there were surprises too. What really impressed
me was when Yasmin fell for a hearing impaired guy. When they first met, it
looked like a catastrophe, but later in the movie, they proved just being
friends is really rewarding. There was a fantastic food fight scene the kind
that dreams are made of, I mean whose never fantasized about an all-out food
fight?
This movie exemplified high school cliques and how they can guide a person to
go a certain direction during their high school career. I liked how they showed
different cliques and gave them similar respect despite what they stood for. I
definitely enjoyed this movie and I hope something in it touches your heart like
it did to mine.
